Spice Stellar 517, Stellar 470 Dual-SIM Smartphones Launched at Rs. 7,999

Spice has launched two new smartphones in India, the Stellar 517 and Stellar 470. The phones have been listed on the company's site along with price. While both the handsets are seen priced at MRP Rs. 7,999, the availability details of the handsets are not yet known.
Both the Stellar 517 and the Stellar 470 feature dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support along with dual standby, apart from 3G connectivity on both SIM cards. Both run on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and are powered by an unspecified 1.3GHz quad-core SoC coupled with 1GB of RAM.
The Spice Stellar 517's (Seen below) specifications match with the recently launched Stellar 518, except for a minor change in the front-facing camera and the handset's battery.
The handset features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) IPS LCD display and bears an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Spice Stellar 517 comes with 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expansion via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3000mAh battery backs the handset, which measures 147.3x73.8x9.8mm, and will be available in White and Grey colour variants.

It comes with 8GB of built-in storage with no word on expansion via microSD card. Connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 1500mAh battery backs the handset, which measures 137.8x68.6x7.9mm and will be available in Black and Blue colour variants.
