LG G3 Dual-LTE (D856) With Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC Launched

LG is not yet done with launching variants of its G3 smartphone, as the company has announced a new dual-SIM variant of the LG G3 - called the the LG G3 Dual-LTE (D856).
The device is set to launch in early November in Russia with a suggested retail price of $640 (roughly Rs. 39,300). The handset has also been listed on Hong Kong retailer Eprice, which mentions a starting price tag of HKD 4,998 (roughly Rs. 39,600). There is no word on the handset's India release yet.
According to the company's Russia website listing, the LG G3 Dual-LTE appears to be identical to the LG G3 in terms of specifications, apart from its support for dual-SIM cards.
Notably, LG had announced a dual-SIM variant of the LG G3 in August, called the LG G3 (D858), listing it in China for CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 39,700).

The LG G3 Dual-LTE features a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) AH-IPS display, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor and is paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, and so far, no 16GB variant of the G3 Dual-LTE has been listed.
Running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box, the LG G3 Dual-LTE smartphone features a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash that can record videos in 4K resolution and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.

Measuring 146.3x74.6x8.9mm, the G3 Dual-LTE weighs 149 grams. The G3 Dual-LTE is available in Metallic Black and Silk White colour variants. 4G LTE, Micro-USB, Bluetooth, FM radio, Wi-Fi, and GPS/ A-GPS connectivity options are also included.
LG last month launched its first mobile application processor, called Nuclun, debuting on the company's new G3 smartphone variant, the G3 Screen.
The South Korean company notes that the LG G3 Screen smartphone has been "developed specifically for the Korean market". The Nuclun application processor features an octa-core processor (with four Cortex-A15 cores, and four Cortex-A7 cores) apart from ARM's big.LITTLE core management technology. It also supports LTE-A Cat.6 network and can offer a maximum download speed of up to 225Mbps while keeping backward compatibility with current LTE networks.
