After launching its Desire 816 and Desire 816G earlier this year, HTC might soon launch another version of the same smartphone, codenamed HTC Desire D816h. The company may also launch a variant of the Desire 820, called the Desire 820us.
Both the unannounced HTC Desire D816h and Desire 820us handsets have been listed on Tenaa, a China's equivalent of the FCC, along with some key specifications.
As per the HTC Desire D816h listing, the smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and 1GB of RAM.
Other specifications of HTC Desire D816h include Android 4.4.2 KitKat, 8GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable up to 32GB, 3G connectivity, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Interestingly, 4G connectivity was missing from the listing.
The unannounced HTC Desire D816h, as per the specifications listed on Tenaa, seems to be very similar to the already launched Desire 816, except that the latter bears a more powerful 13-megapixel rear camera, 1.5GB of RAM instead of 1GB, and a slower quad-core 1.6GHz Snapdragon 400 processor. The design seen in the listing is also similar to both the Desire 816 and Desire 816G smartphones. The latter was launched with a slower quad-core SoC compared to the former.
The now-anticipated HTC Desire D816h is also listed to measure 156.6 x 78.7 x 8mm and weigh 162 grams, as compared to the Desire 816's 156.60 x 78.70 x 7.90mm dimensions and 165 grams weight. There is no word on the handset's launch date as of yet.

In the meanwhile, the unannounced HTC Desire 820us was also listed on Tenaa, and both by the pictures and specifications listed on the certification site, appears to be a variant of the popular Desire 820, except that it packs a MediaTek processor instead of the 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 on the original.
The Desire 820us is listed on Tenaa to feature a 1.7GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor along with 2GB of RAM. It features the same 5.5-inch 720x1280 pixel IPS display as the Desire 820, and has the exact same dimensions at 157.7x78.74x7.74mm. It is listed to weigh 1 gram less, at 154 grams. Also listed with Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the Desire 820us bears the same 13-megapixel rear camera, and 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
The yet-to-be-announced Desire 820us also features 16GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). Notably, HTC last month had launched the Desire 820q in India alongside the Desire 820, featuring a quad-core processor instead of the octa-core processor on the latter.
